The Micro-Bio-Atmosphere lab is focused on the investigation of microbes in the air.

We are interested in their health impact, what happens to their pathogenicity and other characteristics while airborne, and what the future holds with respect to global climate changes and anthropogenic effects.

We are also interested in understanding microbial transport in the atmosphere. What are the range of transport, the duration, and the interactions of such bioaerosols with other atmospheric components?

In addition, we try to map microbial ecology in the atmosphere and the exchanges with other biomes, such as the marine and terrestrial environments.

You are welcome to join us in this fascinating journey!
